Play too many forms. Treat each player the same. Do not understand basic mathematics.

Those are just a few of my early crimes of playing poker. In fact, some of them are still evident in my game today.

There is no better teacher than experience, but reading this content can help you avoid playing or seriously playing these games when you start playing poker, but it's worth it.

When I first played poker, I made some serious mistakes. What are you doing? Let us know in the comments.

1. Misuse of the starting hand

Starting a hand is a prerequisite for any new poker player. They reduce the pressure on the mind by narrowing the choices that must be made at the beginning of each hand.

Startinghands

They define poker player ranking and positional suitability.

So why use them?

In general, using hand-drawn charts is not a mistake, but I made a mistake when using them.

In an interview with Brian Koppelman, Vanessa Selbst talked about the importance of spending several hours of fundamentals in the beginning.

I did not do this. I want to succeed soon.

Instead of using hand-drawn charts in a flexible way, I became too stiff. Sometimes, the dynamics of the table suggest that I should expand my scope, but I insist on sticking to charts and folding.

Another major loophole I developed was playing from the early and middle positions because they were on the chart - even if the dynamics of the table indicated that I should fold.

A good example is when you have a lot of stacks behind you that may be advancing, open a small pair in the middle position. In this case, it is important that you stay away from the hand chart and fold it.

If you can do this instead of being lazy like me, then hand drawing is a beautiful thing.

2. Treat everyone like

Closely related to my hand-painted chart leakage is my attitude towards how I play my hand.

In the beginning, I always base my control on the ball, not my opponent's strength.

In other words, I will treat all my opponents.

This is a major loophole for me and takes years to repair, even if it still exists today, which shows that the basic principles are correct at the beginning of the learning cycle.

Whenever I talk to professional players, they always ask me what type of player I face.

According to my experience with him or her, what did I read?

If I have no experience, what kind of player does he think he or she is from a visual point of view?

If you are not based on hand advantage, stacking chips and player inclination to make a decision, then you are losing money.

3. Play too many forms

I immediately fell in love with poker, but from the beginning I found it very boring to play a table online. Before I fixed the fundamentals, I was still on multiple tables.

Another problem I suffered from my self. I will watch online poker strategy videos, read forums and books, and hear all these people play 15 tables.

If they can do 15+, then I can do 4, 8, and 10.

For many years when I was in the railroad industry, we had the CEO of Keith Heller. He is american. He came to the UK and immediately began to remove the locomotive from our fleet.

He does not believe we are working hard. When asked when he would stop taking them out of the train plan, he replied: "When I break it." He did it. He broke. Then he started to join the locomotive.

The same is true in online poker. I believe you should play a table until you continue to profit.

Then add a second table, rinse, and repeat. You will get a figure that your game suffered losses.

It will break. Fix it by deleting the necessary number of forms until you show the profit again.

4. Do not understand basic mathematics

I hate school mathematics. When it comes to falling in love with poker, this is a problem.

Basic poker math can be very easy.

Even today, I do not understand the complicated situation. This is a big loophole. This is a block I don't want to manage.

I have never played in poker according to mathematical calculations. I know how basic this is.

When it comes to basic poker mathematics, if you are as lazy as me, then you will lose money.
